Children’s Ministry

Children’s ministry at Lindsay Lane partners with parents to reach all children. From baby dedication, leading a child to Christ, and discipling a faith leader, the church body works to equip the home to lead a child in their spiritual journey. Parents are the model, example, and leader of their home and the church walks beside them in their efforts.

From infant to four years old, Nursery/Preschool is a place for the youngest generation to learn about the love of Christ. The connect group and worship service hour offer thoughtfully-planned care and discipleship. Children learn curriculum that follows along with all ages in the ministry. Relationships built between families and the church help encourage a child’s spiritual growth.

Kindergarten through fifth grade live in the most formative years of their spiritual identity. Relationships grow within this age group through connect groups and kids worship. Connect groups meet within their grade level to discuss and learn age-appropriate curriculum. Kindergarten through third grade come together for a kids worship to glorify and grow in a relationship with God.

Sundays at Lindsay Lane!

Check-In

Your family is welcome here. Greeters are located in the gathering space area under the front awning of the church and are available to help check in a family to the children’s building. At the welcome desk, Lindsay Lane staff members will get to know your family and help fill out a connect card to ensure children meet with the correct class. Parents/Guardians will be given information about child safety regarding pick up and drop off and a greeter will walk with you to a classroom.

The kid’s team invites you to ask questions and become familiar with what your child learns at church. Family Worship Guides are located at the children’s sign in kiosks and children’s bulletins are available outside of the three main exits to the sanctuary.

Groups

Children are invited to join us on Sundays at 9 am for connect group. The children’s building includes groups for infant – fifth grade. A child will learn their way through the bible with engaging lessons and material taught will be provided to families to continue learning at home throughout the week.

First-time guests and visitors may register to attend a connect group by visiting the gathering space located under the awning in front of the church. Feel free to ask a Children’s Ministry Staff Member any questions before leaving your child or reach out in advance of your visit.

Kids’ Worship

Worship… kid’s style begins at 10:30 on Sunday! Children ages 2-4 join our preschool ministry for crafts and worship songs that align with the biblical message. They have a memory verse, a snack, play together, and more!

Kindergarten – third grade students gather together for Kids Worship. This time includes games, group discussion, worship songs, videos, activities, a biblical message, and friends are livestreamed when baptized in the sanctuary. Come this week and don’t miss out on the fun!

Wednesdays at Lindsay Lane!

WAM

The FUN on Wednesdays include learning Biblical truths, missional service, and the JOY of worshiping God. WAM is Worship, Activities, and Missions for ages 2 year-5th grade and meets at 6:30 pm August-June in the Children’s Building.

Wee Praise! is designed for the Preschool Ministry to worshiping Jesus through singing, listening, and moving. Children will have fun learning biblical truths through song, craft, and movement.

Kids Praise! includes kindergarten through third grade. Our team offers engaging, intentional time for our children to build community with one another and spiritual growth. In laughter and learning, Kids Praise! members will experience engaging lessons in biblical truth, a variety of forms of worship, skill building, and mission-minded service opportunities.

PRAISE 54! is a program for the oldest students in Kids. Members serve as leaders within the Kids Praise! team and greet, mentor, and guide the activities of the WAM. Students also participate in an annual Music & Mission tour where they go into our community and beyond as they sing and serve others in the local area.

Commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
