What to Expect

At East, we strive to provide an environment that is welcoming and loving towards those in our church and those who have never been before. When you come on a Sunday, grab some coffee or a water from the lobby on your way in and find a good seat. Our service has an informal, laid-back feel with contemporary band-led worship and simple, yet relevant teaching from God’s Word. And don’t forget we have a gift for you at our next steps area on your way out!

Where do I park?

We have Guest Parking spots just for you right by the door of our worship center. When you pull into our parking lot, follow the arrow to the right and park near the awning.

Where are the pre-school and nursery?

Our kids’ building is behind the worship center. Once you arrive, someone from our Next Steps team can walk you there and help you get your kids checked in.

What should I wear?

We have a pretty casual environment on Sundays. Most people are wearing jeans, though a few will be a little more “dressed up.” We encourage you to come as you are!

Church office hours

The best way to meet with a pastor of our church is to email or call us to set up a time. You can reach us through email at east@lindsaylane.org or by phone at 256-232-6714.

Our Ministries

CHILDREN ARE A BLESSING FROM THE LORD!!! ~ Psalms 127:3

That is our belief and it is our goal to come alongside parents as they seek to raise their precious little ones to have a personal relationship with Jesus. We desire to build relationships with your whole family as we all grow in the Lord.

Your kids can join us on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM (birth-5th grade) or on Sundays during our services (birth-3rd grade). We provide a safe and secure environment where the Gospel is taught lovingly through a Bible-based curriculum. High-energy worship songs, videos, and crafts are also part of the fun! We would love to have your children join us!

We are made up of 6th thru 12th-grade students from multiple local high schools as well as home school students. Our ministry exists to lead the next generation of middle and high school students to live their lives for the honor and glory of Jesus Christ. From weekly worship and Bible study to mission opportunities throughout the community, your students will have the chance to not only grow in their personal relationship with Christ but also learn to reach out to help serve others.

On Wednesday nights, students have a chance to sing and worship along with other students, dig into God’s Word and ask questions, as well as hang out with their friends. We meet on campus at 6:30 PM on Wednesdays.

Here at East, we believe life transformation happens most effectively in circles, not in rows. Yes, gathering on Sunday for worship and hearing God’s preached is SO important for a Christian, but we know that experience each week won’t be enough to help our people live out the mission God has given us. That’s why we offer small groups!

Our groups are designed to provide an environment for every person to get to know other people in the church, learn more about God’s Word, and feel loved and cared for by others. We offer different options on different days to try and meet everyone where they are in the schedule and in their knowledge of the Bible.

One of the best ways you can get connected in our church is by serving on one of our teams. We have several different options so that we can provide an avenue for everyone, no matter their skill set, gifting, and passions. Sign up today to begin serving! Once we hear from you, we will reach out and figure out the best spot for you, get you the training you need, and get you on our schedule.
