What to Expect
LL North aims to challenge the expectations of a typical church experience. Upon your arrival, a member of our First Impression team will greet you, answer any questions you might have, and direct you to our hospitality area where you can grab a doughnut, some coffee, or even a can of Sun Drop! You can expect our service to have an informal, welcoming feel with contemporary band-led worship and practical, relevant teaching in God’s Word. Before you leave, don’t forget to pick up your guest gift from the Next Steps table on your way out!
Where do I park?
As soon as you arrive on campus, our friendly parking team will guide you to our special guest parking area located right outside the worship venue.
Where are the pre-school and kids rooms?
Our kids check-in is conveniently located right beside the main entrance. Once your preschooler (birth-5 yrs) and/or elementary student (K-4th grade) is checked in, one of our background-checked North Kids volunteers will be happy to direct your family to the appropriate classroom.
What should I wear?
We strive to be a church for all people. As such, we encourage you to come as you are! Although some choose to wear dresses or slacks, you will see just as many wearing shorts and t-shirts.
Church office hours
While our church offices are located at the Athens Campus, office times are 8 am-5 pm, Mon.-Thurs. But feel free to reach out to us at any time by email at north@lindsaylane.org or by phone at 256-232-4889.
Our Ministries
Whether it is your 1st time or 101st time, for your safety, each child will be checked in using our electronic sign-in system. Additionally, you will notice that all of our volunteers are wearing a North Kids Lanyard. This indicates that they have received a background check and have been vetted by the staff.
After check-in, you will be escorted to the room where your child will be kept, introduced to the leaders in that room, and be given the opportunity to write down any special instructions or needs that your child might have.
The mission of North Students is for each student to come to a growing relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Romans 12:1-2 tells us to be a living sacrifice to God and allow Him to transform us by the renewing of our mind. In every service, event, or outreach we want to ensure the students ENCOUNTER God, ENCOURAGE Each Other and ENGAGE in the Community.
